Not only is demand for these products rapidly growing, they are also innovative and good for the environment. Thanks to our expertise in the domain of high-quality, zero-defect electrical assembly, along with our company’s vertical integration structure, we can help companies meet that high demand. All of which helps us to create a better society and healthier environment.
Creating sustainable work
As a social enterprise, it is our mission to create sustainable work for our workers. Our sustainable jobs mean not that we can offer people permanent work, which ensures a steady income, but the work they do is meaningful and beneficial to wider society.
Sustainability and economic growth
The e-mobility, HVAC, charging station, heat pump and meter bank markets are rapidly growing. Demand for these products is huge, which means there are a lot of opportunities there. As these markets are constantly investing in innovation, we’re convinced that this growth won’t slow down any time soon: the markets will come up with new and better products in response to societal and environmental challenges.
Europe, the first climate-neutral continent
It is Europe’s goal to become the first climate-neutral continent. The European Union wants to achieve this by 2050, and by 2030, it aims to have reduced CO2 emissions by at least 55% across all member states. However, you don’t have to look far to see that there’s still a lot of work to be done in this area. One of the main reasons seems to be the market prices. Right now, prices for products like electric cars and heat pumps are still quite high, but by increasing production (which will be a necessity due to high demand), prices will decrease, which in turn will further fuel demand.

With our electrical cable manufacturing experience, WAAK is the ideal partner to help other companies to cope with sharp increases in demand without compromising on quality. Due to strict safety standards (fire and explosion hazard), zero defect is our default standard. We have integrated extensive control systems into our production processes, enabling us to handle large volumes whilst remaining compliant with all required standards.
A total package thanks to vertical integration
Our vertical process integration also benefits our customers. For instance, the WAAK electrical assembly unit can handle the cabling of EV charging stations, as well as manufacturing the metal and plastic bodies for our metal or plastic assembly units. Another great example is the electrical assembly and metal formwork we do for hospital trolley manufacturer Belintra. For our client Smappee, a manufacturer of EV charging stations, we provide both metal bodies and wiring. WAAK has all the resources to manufacture durable, reliable and high-quality products for everyone. Our work in these markets is helping to build a better, more environmentally-friendly and healthier society.
